Select the 3 archive files from your FF8 Steam installation:

Typically found at:
Steam/steamapps/common/FINAL FANTASY VIII/Data/lang-en/world/

Select all three files: world.fi, world.fl, world.fs

Select the raw extracted files:

  • 🗺️ wmx.obj — World map geometry (terrain mesh)
  • 🎨 texl.obj — World map textures (20 TIM images)
  • 🌊 wmsetxx.obj — Water/road animations (optional)
